We are pleased to welcome California post-punk band, Dance of Days to Sunday Drive Records.
Coming out of California’s valley and led by songwriter Brandon Olds alongside Coleman Elliot, Jules Trifan, and Kaeleb Dummar, Dance of Days deliver a modern take on ’80s new wave and post-punk while naturally carrying the attitude of California punk. On their debut album, D.O.D. wear their influences openly: Peter Hook (New Order) style bass lines, the dark and heavy electronics of Depeche Mode and Sisters of Mercy, and the band name pulled from D.C. hardcore band, Embrace.
“Dance Finite” is an eight-track wave of apathy and gloom; heavy in emotion but still makes you want to move.
You can pre-order "Dance Finite" on cassette tape/CD and watch the music video for "Hound Of Love" below.
