Read Only Memory

Released just months after their debut self-titled EP, "Prom" is South Florida’s, Read Only Memory's second release and their first on Sunday Drive Records. The three-track EP opens with "Right There," setting the tone with washed-out guitars and a focus on vocal melody. "Let Me Get What I Want" follows as a more somber and dynamic track, where the band pulls back from the driving energy of "Right There" to create an explosive sound. The five-minute closer "Always" introduces a dancey drum beat, with vocalist Emmy weaving a beautiful melody paired with sorrowful lyrics.
